WE CAN MAKE THEM HAPPEN!
Multiple installations created for Universal Nightclub, a colorful, vibrant and eclectic lounge located in the Hillcrest neighborhood of San Diego, California. Designed by Davis Ink, the sexy space features, among other innovations, custom fabricated light fixtures, illuminated graphic wall panels and a metallic leather upholstered bar.
Adjoining Universal is Dish, an independent restaurant space that echoes the bold decor of the neighboring nightclub yet offers its own unique spin on psychedelic imagery, color and texture. Natural and exotic materials combine to create an unexpected atmosphere enhanced by digitally-printed glass peacock panels and padded snakeskin walls.
Three of many installations created for the Kress, a 38,000 sq. ft. multi-level nightclub, restaurant, lounge, sushi bar and event space located in the restored 1934 Art Deco landmark Kress Building, former home of Frederick's of Hollywood in Hollywood, California. Projects included custom wallpaper koi murals, provocative backlit displays, sensual upholstery and graphic light fixtures.
Architectural rendering with custom digital koi pond artwork that, in final, was printed on tea-stained grasscloth. One of two original murals created for the sushi bar on the second level of the Kress, the concept was a creative collaboration between Wall Resources graphic designer Renée Grigorian and interior designer Davis Krumins of Davis Ink. The dynamic composition is a complex digital collage of both photographic and illustrated elements.
Morimoto Napa in Napa, California is one in the family of signature restaurants by Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto. A contemporary, yet rustic atmosphere designed by Thomas Schoos is energized by glossy and vibrant large-scale photograhs of colorful fish and octopi on ice.
The Hotel Indigo is a new boutique destination in Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona. Evoking an atmosphere of serenity and relaxation, the design of both the interior and exterior showcases an all-encompassing desert theme. Overscaled natural elements are repeated in custom murals, wallcovering and panels installed throughout the venue.
Built to delight an audience of 2,225, the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in Denver, Colorado is affectionally referred to as “The Ellie.” Denver’s own Semple Brown Design created the soaring performance space, a world-class acoustical hall designed in the lyric style. Rich, warm SanFoot wood veneer wallcovering is used throughout and features custom designed swing-matched cherry wood which covers the balconies, prosceniums walls, doors, lobby and salon walls.
With over 50 locations in the Western United States, the Black Bear Diner chain traditionally exhibits local artist murals on both the interior and exterior facades of all its franchises. Here, severely damaged original paintings by artist Colleen Mitchell-Veyna were photographed, digitally retouched and then printed on UV-resistant exterior vinyl and installed on site in St. George, Utah.
Architectural renderings of multiple installations produced for the new MapQuest offices in Denver, Colorado. Conceived by Sky Design of Atlanta, Georgia and I.A. Architects of Denver, Colorado, the sprawling space features multiple glassed-in huddle rooms that are enhanced with both first and second surface vinyl graphic decals. Simplified mural maps of iconic landmarks created by Wall Resources cover the back wall of each room. Branded signage utilizing various production techniques conveys way-finding and safety information.
